Sadie and the Hotheads rehearsing

It's been a long time. But the wheels are once again in motion. Sadie is back from Downton business and we're rehearsing and reworking songs for our first ever US tour

in December! Whenever we can we gather for vocal rehearsals, usually in Sadie's elegant sitting room, or for full band rehearsals in the salubrious, and aptly named, Survival Studios, in North Acton.

It was great to welcome Terl back into the family a couple of weeks back. He turned up with wine and a new haircut and regaled us with tales from his Bad Shepherds tour.

Aside from that we have been working on a soon to be announced new project with the wonderful Mr Kipper at his studio down in Haslemere. It's always a joy to team up with Kipper and Brad. There's lots of hard work and lots of laughs. Watch this space!

We had a live session with Bob Harris broadcast last Saturday. It's a real thrill that the legendary Bob is championing the band and to appear on the show alongside tracks by the fabulous Gretchen Peters and Mary Chapin Carpenter!

We also had a wonderful day down at The Bedford in Balham filming three songs for Sky's Vintage TV. We were well looked after by the crew and performed alongside Adam Ant, UB40 and the legend that is Andy Fairweather Lowe. Lovely people one and all. We played 'All My Sins', 'Staying Alive' and 'Fly Away' and the show is broadcast later this month... We may be 'quiet' but things are happening!
